Terms of Service
Last updated: August 17, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Aeon (“Aeon,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), a personal life-management application covering scheduling, tasks, notes, finances, health tracking, journaling, and related productivity tools (the “Service”).
By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to use the Service. By using Aeon, you represent that you meet this requirement and that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
2. Your Account
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
- You must provide accurate account information and keep it up to date.
- Notify us immediately at security@aeonos.app if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
- You may not share your account, impersonate another person, or create an account for anyone other than yourself.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service, other users’ accounts, or our systems.
- Upload malicious code, interfere with the Service’s operation, or attempt to reverse-engineer it beyond what applicable law permits.
- Use automated means (bots, scrapers) to access the Service without our prior written consent.
- Use the note-sharing or collaboration features to distribute content that is unlawful, harassing, defamatory, or infringes on others’ rights.
- Resell, sublicense, or provide the Service to third parties without our permission.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section.
4. Your Content
You retain all ownership rights to the content you create in Aeon — notes, tasks, journal entries, financial records, and everything else you enter (“Your Content”). We do not claim ownership over Your Content.
By storing or sharing Your Content through the Service, you grant us a limited license to host, store, reproduce, and display it solely as necessary to operate and provide the Service to you (and, for content you explicitly share, to the collaborators you invite). This license ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies retained in backups for a limited period as described in our Privacy Policy.
You are solely responsible for Your Content and for ensuring you have the right to store and share it through the Service.
5. Sharing & Collaboration Features
When you make a note public or invite a collaborator, you control who can access it and what role (viewer/editor) they have. You are responsible for managing that access — including removing collaborators or switching a note back to private — and for the consequences of sharing content with others. We are not responsible for what invited collaborators or public link recipients do with content you choose to share.
6. Third-Party Integrations
The Service allows you to optionally connect third-party services, including Google Sign-In and Google Calendar. Your use of those third-party services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or practices of third-party services, and you may disconnect any integration at any time from Settings.
7. No Professional Advice
Aeon’s finance, nutrition, health, and habit-tracking features are self-tracking tools for personal organization only. They are not financial, medical, dietary, or professional advice, and Aeon is not a licensed financial advisor, healthcare provider, or fiduciary. Always consult a qualified professional before making financial, medical, or health decisions. You use these features, and act on any insight derived from them, at your own risk.
8. Subscriptions & Payments
Aeon offers free, trial, and paid tiers with different feature access. Paid subscriptions are billed on a recurring monthly basis through our payment processor, Stripe, based on the features you’ve chosen to enable; the price for each feature is shown to you before you subscribe. You are responsible for all charges incurred under your account.
You can view your current plan, update your payment method, view past invoices, or cancel your subscription at any time from the Subscription page, which hands off to a Stripe-hosted billing portal — we never receive or store your card details ourselves. Canceling stops future billing; unless stated otherwise at the time of cancellation, access to paid features continues through the end of the billing period you’ve already paid for. We do not provide refunds for partial billing periods except where required by applicable law.
9. Intellectual Property
The Service — including its design, code, features, branding, and the Aeon name and logo — is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. Except for the limited right to use the Service as intended, these Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks, logos, or other brand features.
10. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Service, with notice where reasonably practicable. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately; provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive (e.g., ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability) will survive.
11. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Aeon and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or revenue, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us, if any, in the twelve months preceding the claim.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.
13. Changes to the Service & These Terms
We may modify or discontinue features of the Service at any time. We may also update these Terms from time to time; if we make material changes, we’ll notify you by email or in-app notice before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of [jurisdiction to be specified], without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service will be resolved in the courts located in that jurisdiction, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
